Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1916, George Hausmann made his Major League Baseball debut for the New York Giants on April 18, 1944. Though originally a second baseman, he was used as a utility player for three seasons. He eventually moved to Boerne where he died in 2004. He is buried in Boerne Cemetery where this box can be found.

Directions:
From I10 go east on Johns Rd about 1 mile, turn left on North School St for 0.5 mile, then turn left into Boerne Cemetery at entrance with historical marker. Go about 50 yards and park by trash can on left.

Clues:
Walk back down road 20 steps then left 32 steps to large evergreen bush surrounding a tree. LB is between trunk and stone for Jonas. I could not find stone for George.

Hike length: 0.1 miles
