Burnet High School is classified 4A and has a bulldog as its mascot. The football team has gone to State finals three times: 1991, 2002 & 2003 and has had two players go on to play in the NFL: Stephen McGee & Jordan Shipley. This box honors the school and can be found at Haley Nelson Park, a city park with hiking trail, disc golf and an amphitheater where the Summer Concert Series is held every year.

Directions:
From Hwy 281 go west on Hwy 29 for 0.7 mile and turn right on Garden Trails Dr into Haley Nelson Park. Drive to end of road and park by soccer fields.

Clues:
Facing soccer fields walk to right side of lot and go left on asphalt trail past limestone block. Continue as trail bends right and goes past soccer field on left. When trail makes sharp bend left go straight 25 steps to blue pole in grass area, then go left 15 steps to intertwined trees. LB is in hollow at base under rocks. Please be discreet and replace as described.

Hike length: 0.5 miles
