When I first walked the park the day after it officially opened in Oct 2016 the trail was literally golden with poplar leaves. I just had to place a Letterbox in such a beautiful place.
Start at what remains of the windmill and water tank. Take the upper side of the Loop Trail. You will come to a spot with a large rock on the right side and a three trunked tree on the left. Should I place it by the tree or the rock? Tree? Rock? Tree? Rock? You'll find out when you get there
After you find the box you may want to hike up to either of the shelters on the two high points of the Park. Be prepared for a short but steep hike.
Hike length: 0.5 miles
