Sitting on the bank of the Blanco River, the Five Mile Dam Park complex contains the Dudley Connaly Johnson and Randall Wade Vetter Parks, along with soccer fields and playground. There are picnic tables, walking trails and access to the river for swimmers and non-motorized boats, so bring your swimsuit and enjoy the day while looking for this box.
Directions:
Go south on Old Stagecoach Rd for 5.3 miles then right into Five Mile Dam Park. Go left at jct then immediate right into parking lot for Randall Wade Vetter park & picnic area and park on right side.
Clues:
Walk on stone path to end by last picnic table with view of the dam. Continue on grass 10 steps then go right along edge of mowed area 15 steps. Go left 5 steps to group of 3 trees and letterbox is at back base of the first one under rocks.
