Berry Springs Park is located along Berry Creek and offers camping, fishing and hiking, including a 2.5 mile hike/bike trail that will eventually connect to Georgetown Parks and Recreation trails. It was voted "The Best Kept Secret" in the 2010 "The Best of Georgetown" contest, so sounds like the perfect place to go letterboxing.

Directions:
From I35 go southeast on CR-193 about 1 mile, left on FM-971 for 0.1 mile, left on CR-152 for 1.7 mile, then left into Berry Springs Park. Go to parking lot just before restrooms and pavilion.

Clues:
Walk down to concrete trail and go right (NW) past restrooms, left on gravel trail, right across bridge, and left at next jct. Continue as it curves right past Mill Pond to Y jct and go left a few steps to another Y jct where you will go right. At big stone fire circle continue past right side, through a meadow, to Bird Watching deck with benches. At far end curve left around lamp 6 steps to bush next to third post. LB is between bush and deck under a rock and mulch. Please be discreet and rehide well. You can return by going right at Y jct then right on concrete path.

Hike length: 1 mile
