Phil Hardberger Park is a 311-acre former dairy farm comprising one of the few remaining undeveloped parcels in San Antonio. There are two seperate sections of the Park, west and east, which will be joined in the future by a land bridge across Wurzbach Pkwy. The west side includes a restored savanna which you can see while walking the Savanna Loop Trail looking for this box.

Directions:
From Wurzbach Pkwy go south on NW Military Hwy for 0.4 mile then left into Phil Hardberger Park West. Continue straight to Urban Ecology Center and park in lot.

Clues:
Walk behind Ecology Center and go right (counter-clockwise) on Savanna Loop Trail to third bridge. Go left to stay on Savanna Trail past another bridge to jct with Bypass Trail. Bear right on Savanna Trail and continue as it bends left near Wurzbach Pkwy to huge oak tree on right side of trail. Go left 10 steps to large oak tree between two dead ones, then continue 18 steps behind it to medium oak tree with small trees around it. LB is at back base under rocks. Continue around loop to start.
