Nutes Park is located on the South end of Bainbridge Island at the top of Toe Jam Hill. This is about 15 minutes from the ferry.
Park at the entrance to the park (be aware, not much room for parking). Walk to the pond. Follow signs to the loop trail. At fork, take the loop trail (waypoint 5). Standing at waypoint 4, stop and look Northeast. You will see a maple tree with many trunks. Go around the South side of the tree and you will find the letterbox under some bark. Please re-hide well.
As you leave by car or bike, we recommend heading south down Toe Jam Hill and enjoying the views from South Beach of Blake Island and Mount Rainier.
Hike length: 0.5 miles
