The Marlborough Region of the South Island is known for its dry climate, the picturesque Marlborough Sounds, and Sauvignon blanc wine. In 1973, Brancott Estate began planting grapes and in 1975 settled on Sauvignon blanc , which is widely considered by many critics to be the world's best. Today 75% of New Zealand’s total wine production comes from Marlborough and its share of New Zealand’s wine exports is approximately 1.1 billion. You can visit the Brancott Estate Heritage Centre to taste some of their wines and find this box dedicated to them.

Directions:
From Hwy 6 go south on Godfrey Rd then turn right on Brancott Rd for 1.5 km then right into Brancott Estate and park.

Clues:
Ride in the van or walk up to the Heritage Center and tase some wines, then walk out side entrance to table with view of vineyard. Go along hedge at left on dirt path 35 steps down to last plant. LB is within branches at base under a rock.
