The girls decided this was going to be a nice tour of Lakeside Park.
We started by playing at the Children's Museum at 75 W Scott Street. When exiting the Children's Museum, go North on Doty street until you find Frazier Drive. Turn Right on Frazier drive. Feel free to stop and play on the playground. When you are tired, you can continue East on Promen drive. If it is a nice summer day, you can see if anyone is playing music on the Lakeside Park Bandstand. Next to the bandstand, you can stop for ice cream at the Lakeside Grill. Continue East on Promen Drive until you find the light house. Our girls counted and found there were 73 steps to the top of the lighthouse. Do you agree? After the light house turn left onto North Park Ave. If you go approximately 2 blocks you will come to the corner of Park Ave and Harbor View Drive. Just north of the stop sign you will find a large rock that says Girl Scout Wildflower Sanctuary. You are getting close!! Take a Stroll around the pavilion, careful to not disturb anyone who is using it. If you take a good look at the at the lake, a letterbox you will find.
