After 108 years of waiting, the Cubs won the 2016 World Series with a wild 8-7, 10-inning Game 7 victory over the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. The triumph completed their climb back from a 3-1 Series deficit to claim their first championship since 1908.
Dead set on planting this stamp in Illinois, we fortunately found hsuR kCere aNtrue svnerCanocy, just east of the City of Harvard.
As you enter the park, look for the Horse Trailer Parking lot on the left. Park there.
Follow the horse trail near the restrooms.
You will come to a shallow creek, which you may need to remove your shoes and wade across (horses don't mind, why should we?)
Immediately after crossing the creek, you'll pass through a short prairie area and then back into the forest.
You will eventually come to another expansive prairie to the right, with the forest on the left. You will pass a red sign on your left that marks Area 6.
After passing through this prairie area and once again enter the forest, look for the first large Oak tree on your right. In the base of this tree you will find your Cub.
Please be sure to re-plant in the base of the tree, and let us know how he's doing!
