This stamp is up a very short path. After you park in the rest stop you can be done in <5 minutes.

On highway 6 South of Nelson BC going toward Salmo, there is a small village called Ymir. In Ymir there is a historic hotel built in 1896 that houses an amazing eclectic art collection. Its an interesting and unusual stop right on the river.

If you are driving from Nelson you will find this treasure about 25km from town. There is a small unassuming rest stop on the right side of the road. If you get to Ymir you have gone too far.

Turn into the stop. Past the toilet you should see a sign for Stewart Creek Rest Area. There is a sidewalk going into the trees from the rest area. Follow it up to a picnic table and then continue up a foot path towards the waterfall. There is a bench facing the falls, so you can sit and enjoy the beauty. Behind the bench in the direction that you came from there are some cypress trees. On the road- side of the nearest cypress to the bench there is a pile of rocks and under the rocks you will find your prize.

This is a hand carved double sided stamp. I won't be able to check on it so please be kind to it and let me know how it's doing!
Please re hide carefully so it can't be seen!
