This Loop Starts at the Entrance to the Self Guided Nature by Group Camp 2.
Follow the nature trail path past the Coulter Pine and up the stairs then through the shady Cedar and Live Oak grove. Please keep an eye out for poison oak! Remember: Leaves of three leave them be!
Go up the hill and over the 3 stepping stones continuing along the rock lined hill past the Barn Owl. As you come along the path find the half barked tree on the right which looks towards a large 'V' shaped Oak. Count out fifty paces and you should find what you seek. It is hidden under a rock within the base of the conjoined tree next to the Burrowing Owl.
If you wish to continue along the loop there are some great views at the crest of the hill where you can even rest your feet!
