Red Rock Canyon Open Space is a city park that consists of a series of parallel ridges (called "hogbacks") and eroded canyons, a continuation of the same sandstone rocks of the Fountain Formation that make up Garden of the Gods a few miles to the north. Some wanted to call Red Rock Canyon the “Garden of the Goddesses,” so there is a club by that title which helps build and maintain the trails. The Garden of the Goddesses built the Contemplative Trail, which is off-limits to bikes and horses to honor the meditative quality of the area. Hopefully you will feel the vibe as you stamp into this box.

Directions:
From I25 take the Cimarron Street exit west and turn left onto Ridge Road. Enter the roundabout and take the second exit going east and park at far end of first lot on right for Rock Canyon Open Space.

Clues:
From east end of parking area walk on Mesa Trail past a few other trails to jct with Meadowlark Trail. Go right on it about 200 yards to large, long boulder just left of trail. From about middle of boulder find first bush next to it with LB behind bush under rocks and leaves. You can enjoy a distant view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods while stamping in.
