Terrain: steep
Find parking on the left, 2.6 miles after the turn off Route 9. If you get to Springy Pond Road, you went about one hundred feet too far.
First fork go left
Second fork go left
Climb to the top (enjoy the spectacular view)
Look left as you walk forward along the cliff trail
Look ten feet off trail
You should see a six or seven armed sister pine
Seven paces behind is a moss covered stone
Under rock and debris is the box
Note: The ridge trail is a bit overgrown in the summer months. Some trees are down, but still manageable, with the view!
Hike length: 1 mile
