From the town of Steamboat Springs, travel east on U. S. Highway 40 for about 15 miles. Between mileposts 147 and 148 turn right (south) into Meadows National Forest Campground (USFS).. Stop at the entrance and walk up to the Meadows sign. Looking at the sign, then look left away from the highway and you will find a small pile of rocks about 5 feet from the sign. You will find what you are looking for there. Please put back when done. I carved this stamp in memory of my late uncle Duke F. We would camp in Meadows every Labor Day. I've been to Oktoberfest in Munich with him twice. He was a fun, life loving man. Stop at the entrance and walk up to the Meadows sign.
