*** Part of my TX Baseball Series ***
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 50 yards RT)
Recommended Ink: blue
Status: alive
The Corpus Christi Hooks are a minor league baseball team of the Texas League, and are the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. The team's ownership group is headed by Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan and the team's CEO, Reid Ryan, is Nolan's oldest son. They are named for the city's association with fishing and they play their home games at Whataburger Field, which is near the waterfront and Rose Hill Memorial Park, where this box can be found.
Directions:
From I37 go south on N Port Ave for 0.4 mile, right on Comanche St, then left on Palm Dr into Rose Hill Memorial Park. Go right at first jct just a little ways and park by Guerra stone on right.
Clues:
Walk behind Guerra stone 48 steps to Guillen stone just before fence. LB is behind stone next to trunk of bush under a brick and leaves.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
