We’re borrowing an idea from a fellow letterboxer who also loves reading and letterboxing. In this library, you will find four letter stamps, which when stamped in the correct order, form a word. Please be very stealth and watch all the muggles around as we wouldn’t want any of these to disappear. Some clues will ask you to find the location of a book but it’s not important if the book is there, only that you have found the correct area to look. These are all small magnet boxes. Take the boxes to a nearby table to stamp (stamp in a horizontal totem) and please be sure to put back exactly where you found it so the next person can find it. Thank you.

Clue #1 - Where would you would find a book “Tiger Eyes” by an American writer known for children’s and young adult fiction. Some of her works include “Blubber” and a five-book series about the irrepressible “Fudge.” When you find this area, sit on floor and pretend you are pulling out a book and looking at it. Reach above the book towards the back of the shelf over this book to find the box.

Clue #2 – What television series (in the 1960’s starring William Shatner) started each episode with the words, “Space—the final frontier?” Looks for these books by author PETER ALLEN DAVID. An American writer of comic books, novels, television, movies and video games. His name is often abbreviated as “PAD.” His work includes both comic books and novels such as Imzadi, and co-creating the “New Frontier” series. Feel above and to the front of this book section for the letterbox. It is attached to a pull out shelf.

Clue #3 – Look for the Assistant Manager's door past the front desk. To the right of the door is a set of metal shelves. Feel BEHIND the farthest left, lowest tilted shelf (near the top of tilt).

**For the next box you will need to locate the sign posted on the door to the CHILDREN’S OFFICE. We will be using this sign as an OTTENDORF CIPHER to decode the area of the next clue. Follow the numbers below.
First number is column - Second number is line - Third number is word - Fourth number is letter inside that word.
1-2-3-1
3-7-3-4
2-8-1-1
1-6-2-1
2-5-3-1
3-3-2-3
1-2-2-1
2-9-1-7
3-8-6-1
2-4-3-2
1-8-2-3
3-3-4-1

Clue #4 – As you enter this area, look to your left to find the metal shelves. Go to farthest section on right, third shelf from top. Pull 1-2 books out pretending to look at them, as you reach through the books, back behind the rear of the shelf for the letterbox. It is magnetic.
Hopefully, none of these boxes will go missing. If they do, please inform us and happy hunting! Thank you for playing
