(Please do not put this box into a plastic bag. Thank you.)
MIA - BUT OF COURSE THERE'S A GEOCACHE THERE NOW. HMPH.
Placed this leap day by MountainScorpia, Aunt Billie, Hannah, and Megan (with Baguette and Annie, of course!)
Easy all around, but wear hiking boots and watch for thorns and hidey-hole critters.
If you were among the first Biltmore Estate boxers, you may already have this stamp; it needed to find a windy hill, so I moved it. Park at the AT trailhead on the old US23. Use the clues to find Ryan’s “Froggie” letterbox, then keep going up the trail maybe 1/4 mile. At the ridge top where the dead ent points north, take 5 Small Woman Paces (SWPs) southeast to a tree that hides a prickled post. From there take 27 SWPs more-or-less in a squiggly pattern (thorns everywhere!) due South on the ridge to a large red oak. Peek behind and below under termite food for the box.
