To The Engraver of CT: Thank you for this great stamp!

ALIVE AND WELL AS OF 9/6/12
(THANK YOU TO SEEKERS TWO FOR REPLACING THIS CONTAINER AND DRYING OUT THE CONTENTS!!)

Clues:

Walking Distance: Approx 1 mile - round trip
Incline: Very minor to none
Kid Friendly: YES!
Dog Friendly: No. Due to Big Horn sheep, they do not allow dogs on this trail.
Time: Depends on how fast you walk =]

Please note: This is SNAKE and MOUNTAIN LION country.

Getting There:
From C-470, take Wadsworth southbound. Follow the signs to Waterton Canyon. About 4 miles down the road, the road will fork. If you stay straight, you will end up at Lockheed Martin. You will want to go to your left, which puts you on Waterton Road. Not too far down this road, there will be a sign that says "Waterton Canyon Parking". The parking area is on your left. Park here. Cross the road to begin the trail. (You will be going over a small bridge and it looks like an abandoned water treatment plant).

Finding the Box:
(These clues were updated on 9/6/12 to clarify the area more for those who are not familiar to Waterton Canyon)
Once you pass the map of the area, you will head to your left. This area is asphalt and you will think you are on a road / parking lot. Shortly you will end up on the wide hard-packed dirt road. Stay on this main walkway. You will encounter a few side trails / roads, but you do not want to take those. At one point it will almost look like the road forks and you can go to the left or stay right and go straight - GO STRAIGHT. Less than 1/2 mile from the start of the dirt trail, you will find a picnic area on your right hand side. There are 2 tables and the area is open (I imagine it would be very hot to stop here for lunch). In this area, you will find some sort of "door" at the back of it. To the right of the door, there is a tree. About 20 paces towards the door there is a bushy tree. On the right side of this tree is where you will find the box.
