Clues:

Walking Distance: Approx 1 mile - round trip
Incline: Very minor to none
Kid Friendly: YES!
Dog Friendly: YES! Please make sure to clean up after your pet.

Getting There:
From C-470 westbound, take the exit that comes after Santa Fe and before Platte Canyon. This road is not marked. It is approximately 1 mile after the Santa Fe exit. You will have your own turn lane. Once you make the turn in, you will continue that turn to almost make a U-turn. You will follow this dirt road (you will be following C-470) to the parking lot. There are 2 lots. This place is VERY crowded on weekends, and parking is very limited.

While at this park, you may want to check out Oh Dear! (these two boxes are within seconds of eachother) and Fido

THANKS TO A WONDERFUL LBer THIS BOX HAS A BRAND NEW OUTTER BOX AND LOGBOOK. THE OLD LOGBOOK HAS BEEN LEFT IN THE BOX SO YOU CAN SEE ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE YOU.

Finding the Box:
Head for the trail at the river. This is a sidewalk trail. Facing the river, you will go to your right - under C-470. Follow the side walk to the sign that says "C-470 Trail East". This is your first Left. Cross over the bridge. Once over the bridge, take a left. Very quickly, you will find a cement bench on your right. Almost immediately after this bench, you will see an expansion crack in the sidewalk. Approx 5 setps in front of that, there is another smaller crack that goes the width of the sidewalk. Look to your left. there is a set of trees. In the middle there are two trees that make an arch. Behind those trees there are a few dead logs. Between these logs is where you will find the box.
