** This Box is currently Missing, I have no plans to replace **

My wife and I stayed at the Lords Proprietor's Inn in Edenton, NC. From the Inn, as you walk down Broad St. towards the water turn right on Gale St. The entrance to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery (Open 8-5 daily) is located on your right. Enter the gate and walk down the path lined with massive magnolias. Turn right at the church and walk back towards the Broad St. edge of the Cemetery. Now look for the headless statue. It is enclosed in its own gated section. Standing outside the gated area with your back to Broad St. and the headless statue you will see a pine tree ahead to your left. On the left side of that pine tree is a large bush. At the base of the bush, in the middle of all the branches, under a pile of pine needles, right where a nest should be, lies the Lords Proprieter's Letterbox.

You are fairly hidden from traffic on Broad St., but don't try it on a Sunday or a holiday. This is an active church but it's open to tourists. Have a look around Historic Edenton while your at it. Enjoy.
