This box is a descendent of the Da Vinci in the Park LB, which used to live in the same park. It was originally themed around Columbia Art League's annual event, called Art In the Park. If you would like to know more about it, you can visit that LB's page and read all about it.
The 2020 Art in the Park has been canceled due to Covid-19, but put it on your calendar for June 2021. There is plenty of cool stuff to look at.
Da Vinci in the Park has gone missing as far as I know, and I thought Stephen's Lake could do with another letterbox, seeing as how nice of a place it is. My stamp is based on the Vutruvian man which was drawn by Da Vinci and has been replicated on t-shirts and other places as a sort of icon.

Here is how to find it:

UPDATE for Christmas 2020!!! : While checking on my box, I had some shady people watching me and the parking lot was busy so I didn't rehide it. I will go and replace it in a month or so on a day I know it won't be tampered with. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Park in the lots on the western side of the park across the road from some medical buildings. Find your way to a spiral set of sculptures reminiscent of Stonehenge which sits upon a hill, next to a grassy amphitheater. Beginning with the tallest pillar, walk around the spiral, counting till the 6th column. There should be 8 lines etched into the top of it. Stand on this column's northern side and face south. Directly ahead of you there will be a lamp post. Find your way to this lamp post.

Stand on its north side and face north. Try to look casual as you are back in a more traversed area. To your left there is a large white rock. Look behind the rock and on its northeast corner there should be a small pile of stones covering the Vutruvian Man.

You did it! Be careful in your stamping and as you re-hide it, because this is a pretty popular location to stroll. I know there used to be another LB in the area so maybe do some research and get a 2 for 1!

Give me a shout, on AtlasQuest would be better, and let me know the status of the LB or the quality of the clues! Thanks.
