Plant a Letterbox Day 2020
To find our pupper, you're going to be heading to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Park in the Cheatham Hill Parking Lot. Cross the street to the hiking trail. Head up the trail leading towards the woods.
When you get to the Y split, go right towards the woods. Continue on the main trail through the woods and over the streams. If you've crossed two small bridges, you're on the right trail.
Once the woods ends, you'll be in a large meadow. Go up the steep hill, towards the Illinois Monument. At the top of the hill, go to the right. Follow the signs to the Grave of the Unknown Soldier.
Just past the grave, you'll see a sign for Confederate Maney's Brigade. Stand with your back to the sign, and look in to the woods. You'll see a cluster of three tall trees. Buried under leaves between the two closest trees, you'll find our pupper.
You can continue along the trail back to the Illinois Monument. It's worth stopping and looking around.
The design was done by the M (MAT) of PSMH using the letters of Glitter, and carved by Pallidbat.
Hike length: 1-2 miles
