Founded in 1926, Concordia University Texas sits on a preserve that is conveniently located minutes from the Texas Hill Country! The mascot of CTX is VorTex the Tornado and that is what you'll be finding today!
Disclaimer: You will not actually be entering the campus.

Recommended Color: Purple

Turn onto Concordia University Drive from RM 620 Rd - it's about midway between RM-2222 and Anderson Mill Rd. You'll notice a series of flag poles with concrete bases on the right side of the road. Between the 4th and 5th flag pole (you can count, but they are numbered at the base) you should see a large rock right before the tree line.
Stand directly to the left side of the boulder with your back facing the road and take 9-10 steps until you hit a tree marked 1177A. Two steps to the right of that tree there is another tree with a large, flat rock at its base.
You'll find Texas Tornado under that rock!

This is our first stamp that we've carved/planted! Go get it!

Hike length: 0.1 miles
