Anyone who lives in LA knows that making and eating tamales for Christmas is a big tradition in the hispanic communities.

Continue on asphalt toward Pavillion
Asphalt turns into wide dirt fire road
Pass Seco View trail intersection
You'll have a view of the Pasadena freeway
At 1.5 miles look for 4 cement steps on left
Stand at top step

Walk uphill 25 paces to tree with fallen tree next to it
Lonely rock and branch hide 2x3 inch box behind tree
Continue on trail that will head up hill then back to Debs lake
Hike length: 2-3 miles
