*** 3 Boxes on this trail, so can combine with other 2. Boxes were to be placed in other states, but Tropical Storm prevented that.

Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 1/2 mile RT or 1 mile total if get 3

Box(s) located in Lick Creek Park. Nice hiking area on fringe of College Station. This box is dedicated to Jimmy Buffet. Born in Mississippi, his tie to Texas is his recording of "Hello Texas" used in the movie "Urban Cowboy".

Directions:
From Hwy 6, turn east on William D Fitch Parkway. Turn right on Rock Prairie road and go a few miles, then left into parking area for the park (near Pavilion).

To the Letterbox:
Walk to the left of the pavilion and find trail sign for "Yaupon Trail". Take that trail and go to post #13. Continue on to faint trail to right, but stay left on main trail. Soon reach 4 way intersection. Go left and continue to the #10 post on the left. Go behind the post to the leaning tree 5 yards in. Box is at front base under sticks (be careful of barbed wire). Go back after stamping, or continue on to Bowie box.

Hike length: 1 mile
