Start at the southwest corner of 9th Place and Valley. Walk south along Valley and make your first right onto 9th Street. Enjoy the stroll down one of the flattest “walk streets” aka pedestrian-only streets in Manhattan Beach. Take 9th Street to Highland Ave. Check out the tan and beige building right where you are at the northeast corner of 9th Street and Highland Ave. Note the west facing stained glass windows on the second floor. (You’ll get more info about this building soon). Turn right and walk north on Highland. Pass two buildings on your right. At the third building, there is a free little library on your left hand side. Take a peek inside behind the first row of books.
