Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 100 m RT)
Recommended Ink: green
Status: alive
The iguana settled in the city of Guayaquil during colonial times because water, mangroves and willow trees surround the city, whose fruits are their favorite food. They are the main attraction at Seminario Park, which is also known as Iguana Park because so many live in the ornate gardens. It seemed an appropriate location for this box.
Directions:
Go east on Agosto then left on Chile to Seminario Park entrance on left.
Clues:
Walk into park past statue of Simon Bolivar to back of park. Go right past a bench to far corner of park near a small black building. Find a large rock in the garden to right of a clump of trees. LB is at left side of rock under dirt and leaves.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
