Camp Caldwell (1839 - 1840) A Texas Army post on the south bank of Brushy Creek, about two and one-half miles east of town. Box located near site at Chisholm Trail Crossing Park. Would have put in park but under construction, so put down by creek.
Directions: From I-35, take the Round Rock Ave Exit and go west. At first street, turn right on Chisholm Trial, then left into parking lot for park.
To the Letterbox: (no Log book)
Walk down the sidewalk along Chisholm Trail road down to creek. Go left and follow creek until end of parking area on your left. Continue on as trail heads for woods. See sign on left. Look right for 2ft high rock. Box on back side under 6inch rock.
