Camp Cazneau (1841) A Texan Santa Fe Expedition assembly camp located on the south bank of Brushy Creek about 2.5 miles east of town, at the "Double File Crossing", very close to Kenney's Fort. A monument was erected here in 1925. Box is in Play for All Abilities Park, with is just upstream from where camp was.

Directions:
From I-35, go east on Hwy 79. Turn right on NAW Grimes Blvd. Go over Brushy creek and past park on left (can't turn here) and at next crossover do a U-turn, then go back to park entry on right and enter. Drive all the way to the back parking are by the Rabb House. Park Near it.
