Checked May 2023 and in good condition!
DRAGON FLY
1. Park at Little Campbell Lake parking lot. Dirt lot.
2. When facing the lake look for the trail on the right side of the lot. Sign posted for the trail “Lake Loop”. Go to the start of this trail.
3. You will see 2 signs posted “ski only in winter / wrong way” on either side of the trail (this is a hiking trail in summer ok to go either direction!). From the sign on the right (north side of trail begin counting steps along the trail.
4. Follow the trail and count 55 steps. You will see a trail on the south side (left). Do not take this trail.
5. Continue on trial counting another 65 steps.
6. On the left there will be a small V birch tree. There will be a much larger V tree behind it (with a 3rd single tree next to it, making it a group of 3 trees)
7. Walk off the trail towards these trees (approx6 steps)
8. Box is behind group of trees buried under rocks, sticks, leaves.
9. Please return box to location and hide how you found it.
MOSQUITO
1. Starting from the trail next to the Dragon Fly box you will continue on trail (heading away from the lake)
2. Begin counting steps from the small v tree in front of Dragon Fly box. Go 35 steps along the trail.
2. You will see a large 6 trunk tree on the right.
3. There is a small trail just past the tree. Take this trail 30 steps. On the left you will see a V tree. One of the trunks of the v tree is light the other dark. There is a 3rd tree next to it.
4. The box is nestled in the ground between the v tree and the other tree under sticks, rocks, and leaves.
5. Return the box to its hiding place when done.
