Beautiful drive through scenic Montana!
East of the rest area building there are six picnic tables. If you stand between the last two tables (furthest east) and look north, you will notice a wire and wooden fence that runs the length of the rest area. Directly in front of where you are standing is a very large, flat rock at the base of a wooden post. The rock is a good size for sitting on except low to the ground. Between the rock and the fence post and camouflaged by smaller rocks is the letterbox. Be discreet. Stamp at nearby tables. And maybe check out the national forest campground next door!
