This box is located at trail junction in back country for access to Shadow Lake Lodge. You can access multiple ways, but clues below for from Red Earth Trailhead off Hwy 1. Would only do this if going on to Shadow Lake or Egypt Lake.
Directions:
From Banff, go west on Hwy 1 to turnoff and parking on left for Red Earth Trailhead. Turn in and park.
To the Letterbox:
Access trial through the game fence, then go right and travel up the old fire road until you reach the trail sign on right going to Shadow Lake (Bike rack here also). From sign, go up the Shadow Lake trail for 28 steps. Go left off trail to big evergreen tree 5 yards away. Box at base under a flat rock.
