On the way to the Grand Canyon via Highway 64 you pass through the town Tusayan. At the north end of town on the west side of the highway you will see a large parking lot. The large neon sign for the parking flashes; IMAX Theater; Grand Canyon Visitor Center; and Pink Jeep Tour. Park in the parking lot facing north. Find the start of the paved bike trail to the Grand Canyon. Stand at the metal post in the middle of the trailhead and walk 22 steps.
Turn to the right and see a large ponderosa pine tree about 12 steps from the paved trail. Walk behind that tree and find a metal post. Between the post and the tree find “What’s Buggin’ you?”
For an extra treat sniff the bark of the tree where the sun is shining on it. What delightful scent do you smell?
