Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 20 yards RT)
Status: alive
Bob Wentz Park is a great location for water sports and relaxing on the shores of Lake Travis. It has trails, picnic tables, a pavilion and a great place to go windsurfing at The Point. In fact, the park used to be called Windy Point Park for this reason.
Directions:
From Oasis Restaurant go northwest on Comanche Trail about 2 miles then left into Bob Wentz Park. Pay fee at gatehouse, then continue straight past parking lot on left toward swimming area on peninsula. Turn into parking lot on right and go right to end by two large limestone blocks and park.
Clues:
Walk to left block and go 10 steps left to just before boundary fence. LB is behind a large rock under a smaller rock.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
