Letterbox is located at Greenbo Lake State Park. Start at the campground. You can drive to the very end, past the second bath house, and pass the primitive camping area. Or, if you really feel froggy, you can walk from the campgound entrance. It is closed from late Oct. to mid March, but you can walk it. It's a very easy walk, all paved roadways. When you reach the end of the campground, you will see a board fence. Property on the other side of the fence is still park owned, so don't worry about being on private property.
Go to the left of the fence, to the end, and stand between the fence and tree. Take a bearing of 0*. Walk 15 paces (1 pace = 2 steps). You should be at a forked tree. Take another bearing of 315* and walk 16 paces. You should now be in front of what is left of some rotten treesthat have been felled. Letterbox is a camo covered medicine bottle located in a felled tree. Bring your ink pad, and happy hunting!
