I had a report that this box was still alive and well in the summer of 2019 :)
Terrain level is quite easy. Almost wheelchair accessible except for the last 200 feet or so.
This would be a good one to do with kids. Short hike on beautiful woodsy paved trail. Nice area to eat lunch.
This letterbox contains an original 2004 handcarved letterboxing stamp.
McKenzie Bridge is about 50 miles East of Eugene on HWY 126. It is a beautiful drive along the McKenzie river and the Jenny B. Harris Wayside is a great place to stop along the river. The Jenny B. Harris Wayside is less than a mile east of McKenzie Bridge on the left hand side. Nice place for a picnic.
Clues:
Go to the last picnic table by the river at the end of the paved trail. Look for the biggest tree and lift up the very mossy rock behind it and there it is!
This is a pretty wet area, so I have double bagged the logbook with Ziplocks inside the Rubbermaid. Please try to zip everything up tight again. Thanks.
