Begin at the only traffic light in Three Oaks, Michigan.
Travel 3 miles north on Three Oaks Road
Turn West onto Warren Woods Road, drive ¾ mile.
Cross the stream, park and enter at the sign of
Forest Primeval by the gnarled knees of Grandfather Beech.
Follow the path, mostly straight, for a
Brisk walk of three minutes, pass the bench,
At the low spot in the trail, look left for
Evidence that someone loves “B.H.”
Now turn to the North, north west, and
Look for the beech on legs about
65 big steps away.
Hidden among his many feet is the
Walking Tree Letterbox.
