The I-84 R.S. ( that's short for Rest Area and if you know me, it makes perfect sense :-) can be found at the Southington Rest Area on Interstate 84 East bound out of Waterbury.

Park in the first car spot that you come to on the left, walk straight across the entrance road where you came in (please be very careful crossing here, some people won't be expecting letterboxers). In front of you is an island of trees. Keeping the trees to your left, walk along the edge these trees looking for a manhole cover to your right (yes, this is in the grass). Just before the man hole cover look left at the edge for a multi trunk tree which has a neat letterboxing slab at it's base covering the box (along the left side/back of the tree)

Rehide carefully and thanks for visiting.
