This box was orginally set up as a gc hybrid. Now that I am becoming more active in letterboxing, I have since archived from gc.com and it's now available for letterboxers exclusively.

Placed on a wonderful trail system for hikers, bike riders, runners, horses and leashed dogs - please pick up after your pet! Enjoy the trail! Great to find as the sun is going down!

I have placed this letterbox to thank my greatest love for showing me such great adventure in the mountains! Although it's not 'in' the mountains, you will see a great view of the foothills. Take great care not to be seen while "STAMPING" in as it is right off the trail. Try your search as the sun is going down - the sunset is incredible! If you're lucky, you might just see some resident critters! Enjoy!

Clues: Park at Writer's Vista Park that is located off of Mineral and Broadway.

Parking is available. Jump on the trail and travel South on the Highline Canal. The walk is probably a 1/4 mile to the box. Take the trail and pass a wooden bridge on your left. Continue to the first bench on your right. When you get to the bench, facing the McClellan Reservior, look for the large double trunk tree on your right. You will find what you seek at the base of this tree. While at the bench, look both ways to make sure the coast is clear before heading to the tree. This trail is very popular. The bench serves as a good place to stamp in and watch the sun go down. Please rehide the box better than you found it - thank you! Enjoy!
