I'm very unhappy to report that "The Lion's Paw Lair" has been vandalized or stolen! I'm probably going to replace it in a new hiding place in a few weeks. My apologies go out to anyone who was out looking for it and couldn't find it.

The Lion’s Paw Lair (a handcarved stamp) is located in a small park (hint: this letterbox is named after it) in Portland... please note that this is a pretty busy park during lunch hours (and when school lets out)! There is a Waldorf school across the street (named after a type of tree) and the children have their recess at the park. I love the idea of Lion’s Paw Lair listening to the pitter-patter of children’s feet and laughter.

First:

Fill in the blanks:

1. A _ _ _ of soap.
2. A fish_ _ _ _.

Place the previous answers in the appropriate places:

The park is located here: _ _ _bur Blvd & _ _ _ _er Street.

Start at the "yellow on green", take the paved path slightly uphill and follow it past the swings and then the big tree stump. Continue on the paving to the right and look towards the red brick building for the X’s and O’s. The Lion’s Paw Lair lies quietly, way under that wide slide.

Please be discrete and cover carefully when you are finished!

Have fun and enjoy!

-Preposterous Pixie

P.S. This is the first letterbox I have placed! Feel free to comment! Yes, I will be checking it often :)
