Hitchhiker friendly? Yes
Child friendly? Yes
Wheelchair friendly? Only if the chair is gravel approved. (Slight uphill on loose gravel and hard packed dirt)
Time: About half an hour including stamping in (About 2 hours if you do all 6 boxes)
This series is dedicated to the many animals that are currently on our endangered species list. Hopefully someday they will be taken off the list as the Bald Eagle was just a few years ago. With efforts we can make a difference! There are currently five boxes, and I will be adding more in the coming months. (3 done by me, one by Rat Pac, and one hitchhiker)
To the box:
Take highway 34 westbound through Philomath. Take a left on Decker Road. Watch for the red, white, and blue gates. The third one, labeled Rose Road, is just before milepost 2. (About 1.8 miles from Highway 34)
Park on the shoulder and head up the road. When it's time for a decision, go left. Up the hill you'll spot a large springboard stump. Just past it is an old road. Take the old road, then take a left. See the two stumps? The box is hidden in the base of the first one.
