Underneath The Tree With White Marks-Deep Run Park
Go to Deep Run Park on Ridgefield Pkwy. Take the first right into the parking lot. Go to the small playground that is by the lake. See a ship in back of playground. Go straight up the earthen path(not the paved one) behind the ship. Go up until you see a tire swing. To your left, see Shelter 3. Walk that way until you get to another earthen path(Go directly thru the shelter). Pass the blue monkey bars. Keep walking until you come to a paved path. Walk directly across paved path. See a big dip(this is a bike trail) Go through the dip. Come to another paved path. Walk directly across that one as well. Go straight, ABOUT 20 steps until you see a thin double tree. Take a sharp right(this will take you off the path.)Keep going until you come to another earthen path. See a tree with faded natural white markings(its close to a paved path) and look in the leaves right under that tree. Please write your name and date on a page in the logbook(already in the box). Be very discreet. Do not damage or destroy any contents. Happy Letterboxing :-)
Triple Rocks Box
Park in first lot on right. Take paved path with sign saying 'Shelters 1 & 2' on left, towards lake, then turn right. Continue on path past playground on right and footbridge on left. Take 2nd Paved path on right. On the opposite side of a V-shaped tree, see a faint path. Come to a faint fork, bear right. See another V-shaped tree where trail goes left. (its actually two trees, one is a pine, one is dead, not sure what type.) Take a compass bearing of about 250ºWSW for 30 paces(bushwhacking is necessary.) See three rocks together with a small one on top. The box is under there.
