Un4gettable Toy Series – Jack
***Alive and well as of 5/8/2005***
Every child has their favorite toy however some toys manage to span the generations and delight grandchildren as much as they did their grandparents. We hope to recapture the joy of these enduring toys in our Un4gettable Toy Series. The series will include 10 boxes. Each box will contain a code number as well as the stamp. Once you find all 10 boxes and collect the codes, send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will mail you a bonus postal box with a special grand finale stamp to end the series. To keep in the spirit of childhood, as we place the boxes each clue will begin with something children enjoy playing or doing. We hope you have fun collecting these boxes and relive fond childhood memories as you find the toys along the way!
Begin at Logan Elm Memorial. Count, clap and jump on your way to the flagpole. Take a reading of 72 degrees from the pole and go 24 paces towards the creek. What child doesn’t love to play near a creek? Skip a stone or two and then look for a dead tree about 5 feet tall. Look in the center of this dead tree for Jack. Be sure to wedge him back tightly and cover him with bark so he won’t be found by mistake!
