11-5-06 This box has been temporarily pulled for maintenance. Check back soon for a re-plant date. Thanks!

This Letterbox was placed in memory of "Casey" aka my "Casey-Girl". She was a beautiful German Shepherd, inside and out. She was our protector, our playmate, our friend. We Love You, Casey!

I Loved You Best

So this is where we part, my friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not it's length.
One long embrace before you leave,
one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the head I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this....I loved you best!

The Letterbox
NOTE: FOREST REST MEMORIAL GARDENS is a pet cemetery.
Please respect it as such. Thank you.
Enter the driveway to Candlewick and drive up the hill. Park at either parking areas on the right. Walk up the gravel path into FOREST REST MEMORIAL GARDENS. On your right, you will see two benches and a stone memorial. Take the path between the two benches up to the brick wall memorial. Standing in front of, and facing the brick wall, there will be a huge boulder off to your right. Go to the boulder and stand so you are facing the "corner" of this boulder. There will be a thin tree growing in front of this "corner". Look under a gathering of rocks and stones near the base of this small tree to find your treasure!
