TERRAIN: Flat, easy walk

*****BOX MISSING*****

DIRECTIONS: From IH-10 in Beaumont take the Walden Road exit. Go south on Walden til you come to the entrance to Tyrrell Park on the left. If you have time to visit the conservatory here it is really nice--a large waterfall and lots of exotic plants, and you can feed the fish. There is a fee.

CLUES: Park at the Botanical Gardens lot and walk to the back of the garden to look at the turtles in the pond. This pond is full of turtles and also some huge koi fish. There are also snakes in this area. Therefore I didn't hide the box on the trail around the pond--just in case. I have walked this trail many times but have never seen a snake--but there are warning signs. After you have scared all the turtles back into the water turn and walk back to the gazebo and find the rock with the dedication plaque. In the bush on the pond side of the rock hides the Myrtle Tyrtle letterbox. This box is wrapped in camo tape so please place it back in the bush so that the camo faces out. And wedge it so it wont fall out of the bush. Thanks.

Also in this park are Silver Eagles Spindletop and my Secret Garden letterbox.
