This is a difficult trail of maybe two miles. In some places the trail is not well defined so be sure you can see the next red (white) blaze at all times.

Follow the clues for the Onion Mountain boxes and after Letting Sleeping Cats Lie, continue up...up...up the white trail (this trail is now a red trail with some white showing in a few places). Part way up you have to climb over a downed tree and soon you'll see a double blazed tree sending you to the right and more level trail. At the double blaze look straight ahead (along the trail) and you'll see a large boulder on the left side of the trail. When you get opposite the boulder walk to the front left side and under bark Mr. is hiding. Even though this isn't a highly used trail still be sure he's covered well because he's visible from the trail.

The trail now goes down or level for awhile before ascending again. This is the last climb and the rest of the way is all downhill. After reaching the top (where a neat sign post appeared from out of nowhere 10-10-07) you'll be going through a couple of laurel groves and then come to a monster boulder that you have to walk around. Right after this is a tree with a double blaze sending you to the left. From the blazed tree bushwhack East straight towards a baby boulder with a tree behind it with a nice hidey hole that I was afraid to plant in for fear of dislodging someone from the animal kingdom. Instead, look just to the left of it and Mrs. is under bark on the south side of a downed log.

After re hiding carefully continue on red (White) going through some marshy areas until you come to a six foot stump (with a long red blaze on it) in the middle of the trail. Now you have two options. Going to the right you stay on White (which is really white at this point) coming to orange, take a left and soon it's straight across to blue and your car. OR if you stay on red watch for an old (really old) stone wall on the left, take 30 steps along the trail, turn right to see an old (really old) broken in half tree hiding box #4 of the other series. Continue on red, take a left to your car.
