As an aspring chef/pirate, one must know the tools of his trade. One, of course, is the proper swords and the knowledge of his treasure. The other, is knowing the difference between a cleaver and butcher knife, how thick something should be rolled out, how deep of a ladle you want, or what kind of spatula to use when the recipe calls for a spatula. People can learn this at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, right near the home of the Culinary Arts Letterboxes. This set of four boxes can be found in Davis Park, a short distance from the Le Cordon Bleu of Las Vegas. Now, on to the clues!

Clue difficulty-Between easy and medium
Terrain difficulty-All grass, a little hilly
Status-Placed and saw no disturbances

ALL MICROBOXES

•The Cutting Block Champion:
Davis Park is home to swings
Children will play on these things
Start at the swings with a belt of chain
Face 140° and the box you may gain
Walk that directon 45 paces
Its at a tree, out of all the places
Try the south end, next to the plaque
The road should have a clear view of your back
If you can match this to the plaque, you're doing good
"This tree planted by
Brownie Troop #50
Arbor Day April 27th, 2001"
Dig under some rocks at the base of the wood
And you've found the box, like I knew you could!

•Rollin' in Dough
This park is littered with blocks
Blocks that commemorate people who rocks
Start at the kid's blue canopy
And find the degree of 80
take the curved path to some wildflowers
Switch the bearing to 130°, but don't take hours
Go 25 paces following that degree
The box is at the plaque at this tree
Lift the plaque if it's the box you need
(It's a tiny bit bigger than a seed)
When you are done fill the cracks with dirt
(This is so the box doesn't get hurt)

•The Soup Slopper---currently missing
This starts you off at the north end
East of the canopy is where I send
Stop at the table with some graffiti
Also inscribed is "I HEART ANGIE"
Travel 15 paces at 200 degrees
You should arrive at some trees
If done right you'll be at the box
What covers the box are some rocks
Push them aside at the southeast end of the tree
Because you did this you can set the box free
Put it back when you are done
You've got one more, isn't this fun?

•Lord of the Range
Go to the easy end of the park
I would suggest not in the dark
Look for a yellow sign
With 2 people on it in a line
There should be some black graffiti
Turn to 275° and there you shall see
A circle composed of entirely tree
There are seven, or so I saw
The middle one is the one for ya
This tree has the lowest branches
You may need to duck (my name isn't Sanchez)
Stand at the tree's south for awhile
Until you see a rock pile
That is the hiding of the box
(Yes, just hiding under some rocks)

So, that's it. Congratulations if you found 1, 2, 3, or all 4 of the Culinary Arts Letterboxes. It's also a nice park, with open space for your kids to run around, as well as an extensive play area for them. It is also very safe as long as you keep an eye on them. I'd also suggest to bring extra water in the summer, as there are some unshaded parts of the park and in the summer temperatures can reach 120° F in the shade.

If any box is missing, please contact me so that I can check on it and see if it is missing too.

A funny and personal note:
I am interested in attending the Culinary Institute of America later in life, and the colors there are green and gold, which are the same colors as my logbooks...teehee...
