Hitchhiker friendly? Yes if in baggy, film canisters will not fit.
Child friendly? Yes
Wheelchair friendly? Mostly, the actual finds are not, you'll need someone to retrieve boxes, but the path is all wheelchair accessible.
Time: First box shouldn't take over 20 minutes, from there it all depends on your ingenuity.(Remember it's only a few blocks to the library)

To the trail head:
Park at the Main City Park in Gresham. Drive all the way to the back of the park and park next to the Springwater Trail. This is where the game begins.

Clues:
Do you remember playing Mother May I as a kid? The students I work with were playing the other day and inspired me to come up with this series. Just in case you don't remember how this goes, you stand at the starting line (the stantions to the West of your parking spot) and I stand WAY down the road.

Now you ask me "Mother May I take X number of steps". You're trying to be the first person to tag me. I say to you, "No you may not, you may take 244 MOMMY steps".

Go ahead, do it. Now stop, right under your feet should be box 1. If you can find it, you'll find the clues to box 2.

There are 5 boxes in all, and unless otherwise noted in the logbook, all boxes are within 5 feet of the edge of the trail.

Good Luck!

PS, I believe this is going to be a difficult series, not for the newbie letterboxer unless you have someone expierenced with you. (I don't tell you where exactly the boxes are located, you're going to have to know what a good letterbox hiding place looks like once you get to the general area) As of the first weekend in March Box 1 was in fact there. It has recieved several visitors, but it is NOT easy to find. In fact, I thought it was missing until the person with me found it.
