This box has been placed by the Valley Central Homeschool Letterbox group,an energetic bunch of kids, ages 4-13 years old,as a tribute to a great little "gem" ,the Levi Coe Library.
*From Middletown, drive up Washington St(rt 691)towards Meriden-go left onto Jackson Hill rd.(Large church on corner)-
*OR*From Meriden area,go Washington St(rt 691) towards Middletown,take a right on Jackson Hill Rd,(Large church on corner)
Drive about 2 miles, till you reach a 2 way stop sign in Middlefield, the firehouse will be on your left.
Take a left, and the library will be on your immediate right,
1)park in the lower parking lot.
2)Go to the south corner of the parking lot.
3)Proceed toward a clump of nine trees, near the brook, which runs through a brownstone tunnel.
4)Go six paces south, look closely at the north side base of a tall maple tree, for the little hollow in the ground.
Stamp in and hide box carefully please, and then go into the library and say "hi" to the friendly librarians, and don't forget to check out a couple of good books!
